U.S. News & World Report unveiled its 2025 Best Bed & Breakfasts rankings, which highlight more than 350 bed-and-breakfasts, inns and small hotels across the United States.

The rankings recognize top properties in 17 cities and small towns, chosen based on U.S. News user research indicating that staying in B&B accommodations in these destinations would be of particular interest to travelers.

"Bed-and-breakfasts offer local immersion, providing travelers with the personal connection they often crave," said Zach Watson, senior travel editor at U.S. News. "The 2025 Best Bed & Breakfasts rankings celebrate local establishments where hosts are unofficial guides, breakfast conversations reveal hidden gems and top properties play a part in each community's story."

U.S. News ranks small properties based on star ratings, and both expert and guest sentiment by collecting annual awards from distinguished travel publications and online review data from recent travelers.
