The Beach Is Back
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA - Located on the northern tip of the Island, Dolphin Head Recreation Area is a park overlooking Port Royal Sound with an event area, children's playground, shaded walking paths and picnic areas. From Dolphin Head, we look across to the peaceful and recently renourished Pine Island Beach. Completed in late 2025 and 2026, the beach renourishment project added 180,000 cubic yards of sand and six rock breakwaters to improve the protect the shoreline.
